Job Title: Machinist

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining requirements.

• Set up and operate a variety of machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders.

• Monitor machine performance and adjust machine settings as necessary to ensure quality and accuracy.

• Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition.

• Inspect finished products for defects and perform quality control checks.

• Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.

• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

• Maintain clean and organized work areas and machines.

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Vocational or technical training in machine operation or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience as a Machinist.

• Strong knowledge of machine operation and maintenance.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

• Strong attention to detail and precision.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Strong communication skills.

 

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
