Job Purpose:
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the overall maintenance of the organization's facilities and equipment. This includes planning and overseeing preventative maintenance programs, managing the maintenance staff, and ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for all equipment and facilities.
• Hire, train, and manage maintenance staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Create and maintain detailed maintenance logs and records, including work orders, repair and replacement schedules, and maintenance histories.
• Develop and manage a budget for maintenance expenses, and make recommendations for equipment and facility upgrades and improvements as needed.
• Manage outside vendors and contractors for maintenance-related work, ensuring quality work and compliance with company standards and policies.
• Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure minimal disruption to operations during maintenance work.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration on maintenance-related issues.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
