Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure efficient and safe production of high-quality products.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to keep them in good working condition.

• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in machinery and equipment, such as motors, conveyors, and production machines.

• Inspect and test machinery and equipment to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems to identify and resolve issues.

• Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.

• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Vocational or technical training in maintenance or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic.

• Strong knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques for machinery, equipment, and facilities.

• Experience with electrical and mechanical systems.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Strong communication skills.

 

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
