Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, process optimization, and project management.

 

Responsibilities:

 

     Develop and implement manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality

     Identify and troubleshoot manufacturing issues to minimize downtime and improve productivity

     Conduct time and motion studies to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for process changes

     Design and implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize production processes and reduce waste

     Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to develop and implement process improvements

     Develop and maintain documentation of manufacturing processes and procedures

     Develop and maintain metrics to measure process performance and identify areas for improvement

     Train employees on new processes and procedures

     Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve manufacturing processes

 

Requirements:

 

     Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (required), Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field (preferred)

     Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on process improvement and optimization

     Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process optimization techniques

     Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify opportunities for improvement

     Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

     Experience with CAD/CAM software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks, and statistical analysis tools, such as Minitab or JMP

     Familiarity with manufacturing processes, such as machining, assembly, and welding

     Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
