Responsibilities:

 

- Develop media plans and purchasing strategies based on client objectives and budgets

- Negotiate media rates, placements, and schedules with vendors and partners

- Manage media budgets and ensure efficient and effective use of funds

- Analyze and optimize campaign performance metrics, such as reach, frequency, and ROI

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging media technologies, and continually identify opportunities for growth and improvement

- Work closely with creative teams to develop ad creative and assets that align with media plans and objectives

- Build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors and partners

- Manage media contracts and agreements, and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards

- Provide regular reports to the Media Director and clients on media buying and placement activities and performance

 

Requirements:

 

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field

- 3-5 years of experience in media buying and planning, with a strong understanding of media buying strategies and negotiation tactics

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors and partners

- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and optimize campaign performance metrics

- Familiarity with media planning and buying tools and platforms, such as Nielsen, ComScore, and AdWords

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
