Job Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Media Director to lead our media planning and buying efforts across various channels, including digital, print, and broadcast. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement media strategies that align with overall marketing objectives and drive business growth
- Manage and lead a team of media planners and buyers, and provide guidance and mentorship to help them achieve their goals
- Oversee media budgets and ensure efficient and effective use of funds
- Negotiate media rates, placements, and schedules with vendors and partners, and manage media contracts and agreements
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, such as reach, frequency, and ROI, and optimize media plans and buying strategies accordingly
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging media technologies, and continually identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Work closely with creative teams to develop ad creative and assets that align with media plans and objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors and partners, and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards
- Provide regular reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and other stakeholders on media planning and buying activities and performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field; MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred
- 7-10 years of experience in media planning and buying, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful media strategies and campaigns
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of media professionals
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors and partners
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and optimize campaign performance metrics
- Familiarity with media planning and buying tools and platforms, such as Nielsen, ComScore, and AdWords
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
