Job Summary:

 

We are seeking a highly analytical and creative Media Planner to join our marketing team. The Media Planner will work closely with the Media Director to develop media plans that align with overall marketing objectives and target key audiences across various channels, including digital, print, and broadcast. The ideal candidate has excellent research and analysis skills, as well as a strong understanding of media landscape and trends.

 

Responsibilities:

 

- Conduct research on target audiences, media consumption habits, and industry trends to inform media planning and buying decisions

- Develop and present media plans that align with overall marketing objectives and target audiences across various channels

- Collaborate with creative teams to develop ad creative and assets that align with media plans and objectives

- Negotiate media rates, placements, and schedules with vendors and partners, and manage media contracts and agreements

- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, such as reach, frequency, and ROI, and optimize media plans and buying strategies accordingly

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging media technologies, and continually identify opportunities for growth and improvement

- Build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors and partners, and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards

- Provide regular reports to the Media Director and other stakeholders on media planning and buying activities and performance

 

Requirements:

 

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field

- 2-4 years of experience in media planning and buying, with a solid understanding of media landscape and trends

- Excellent research and analysis skills, with the ability to interpret and optimize campaign performance metrics

- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors and partners

- Familiarity with media planning and buying tools and platforms, such as Nielsen, ComScore, and AdWords

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
