Job Summary:

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Medical Scribe to join our medical team. The Medical Scribe will work closely with physicians and other medical professionals to accurately record patient histories and medical examinations. The successful candidate will have excellent typing and data entry skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Record accurate and detailed patient histories and medical examinations using a computer or other electronic device

• Transcribe physician orders and patient reports

• Prepare medical charts and reports

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care

• Maintain confidentiality of patient information

• Perform other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

 

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Completion of a medical scribe training program preferred

• Strong typing and data entry skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to maintain the confidentiality of patient information

• Familiarity with medical terminology

• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMRs) and other medical software

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

• Certification by the American College of Medical Scribe Specialists (ACMSS) preferred

• Previous experience as a medical scribe preferred
