Job Title: Mover

 

Job Overview:

We are seeking a strong and reliable Mover to join our team and assist with the transportation and handling of household and commercial goods. The ideal candidate should have excellent physical fitness, be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have exceptional organizational skills.

 

Responsibilities:

 

●     Pack, load, and unload household and commercial goods onto trucks

●     Secure items with straps, padding, or other protective materials to prevent damage during transport

●     Transport goods to their destination, ensuring safe and timely delivery

●     Unpack and set up household and commercial goods at their destination

●     Provide exceptional customer service throughout the moving process

●     Maintain accurate records of all items moved, including any damaged or missing items

●     Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of appropriate lifting techniques and protective equipment

●     Perform regular maintenance on moving trucks and equipment

●     Communicate with supervisors or other team members to report any issues or concerns

 

Qualifications:

 

●     High school diploma or equivalent required

●     Previous experience in moving or related fields preferred

●     Strong physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs or more)

●     Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

●     Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

●     Ability to operate moving equipment, such as dollies and hand trucks

●     Good communication skills, both verbal and written

●     A valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred

●     Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
