Title: Nanny

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Nanny to provide childcare for our family. The Nanny will be responsible for caring for and supervising our children, including preparing meals, helping with homework, and engaging in activities and playtime. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and experience in childcare.

 

Responsibilities:

 

●     Provide childcare and supervision for our children, including feeding, bathing, and dressing.

●     Plan and engage in activities and playtime with the children to promote their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

●     Help with homework and school projects as necessary.

●     Prepare meals and snacks for the children, adhering to any dietary restrictions or preferences.

●     Perform light housekeeping duties related to the children's care, such as laundry, cleaning up after meals and playtime, and organizing toys and supplies.

●     Transport the children to and from school, activities, and appointments as necessary.

●     Communicate regularly with parents regarding the children's progress, needs, and activities.

●     Follow the parents' guidelines and routines for the children, including discipline and behaviour management strategies.

●     Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines for childcare.

 

Requirements:

 

●     High school diploma or equivalent required.

●     Minimum of two years of experience in childcare or related field.

●     Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

●     Positive and patient attitude with children.

●     Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.

●     Knowledge of child development and behaviour management.

●     Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

●     Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

●     Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.

●     CPR and First Aid certification.

●     Fluency in multiple languages.

●     Experience with special needs children.
