Job Title: National Account Manager

 

Job Summary:

The National Account Manager is responsible for managing relationships with our national accounts, ensuring their needs are met and driving revenue growth. You will develop and execute account strategies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and maintain accurate records of account activity. Your goal will be to achieve financial targets, increase customer satisfaction, and maintain strong relationships with our national accounts.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute account strategies that meet financial targets and increase customer satisfaction.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with national accounts, acting as their primary point of contact and ensuring that their needs are met.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, marketing, and operations, to develop and execute strategies that meet customer needs and achieve business objectives.

- Identify opportunities for growth within national accounts and develop strategies to capitalize on those opportunities.

- Negotiate contracts and agreements with national accounts, ensuring that terms are favorable and in line with company policies and procedures.

- Monitor industry trends and keep up-to-date on developments that may affect national accounts.

- Conduct regular meetings with national accounts to review performance and identify areas for improvement.

- Develop and deliver presentations and proposals to national accounts, showcasing the value of our products and services.

- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations governing national account management.

- Maintain accurate records of all national account activity and prepare reports as needed.

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in national account management or a related field.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends and opportunities for growth.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

- Knowledge of account management best practices, including customer service, sales, and relationship building.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business software, with experience in CRM software preferred.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.

- Demonstrated success in managing national accounts and achieving financial targets.
