Job Title: National Sales Manager
Job Summary:
The National Sales Manager is responsible for managing and leading a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and grow revenue for the company. You will develop and execute sales strategies, manage sales pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth. Your goal will be to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, grow market share, and achieve financial targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies that meet or exceed sales targets and grow market share.
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and feedback to help them achieve their goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as their primary point of contact and ensuring that their needs are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and product development, to develop and execute strategies that meet customer needs and achieve business objectives.
- Manage sales pipelines, identifying opportunities for growth and developing strategies to capitalize on those opportunities.
- Monitor industry trends and keep up-to-date on developments that may affect sales.
- Conduct regular meetings with sales team members to review performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and deliver sales presentations and proposals to customers, showcasing the value of our products and services.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations governing sales.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activity and prepare reports as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of sales best practices, including customer service, sales pipeline management, and relationship building.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business software, with experience in CRM software preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
- Demonstrated success in managing sales teams and achieving financial targets.
