We are seeking a skilled Network Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our network infrastructure, ensuring that our systems are up and running at all times.

 

Responsibilities:

 

●     Install, configure and maintain computer networks and related infrastructure

●     Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise

●     Identify and diagnose network hardware and software problems, and perform repairs or upgrades as necessary

●     Install and configure network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs

●     Assist with user accounts, permissions, and access levels for network resources

●     Ensure network security and protect against unauthorized access, viruses, and other threats

●     Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, inventory, and security procedures

●     Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize network requirements

 

Requirements:

 

●     Associate's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience

●     Proven experience in network administration and maintenance

●     Knowledge of networking concepts and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN

●     Familiarity with network hardware and software, including Cisco, Juniper, and HP switches and routers

●     Experience with firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems

●     Knowledge of network security best practices and policies

●     Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

●     Ability to work effectively in a team environment

●     Strong verbal and written communication skills

 

Preferred:

 

●     Certification in network administration, such as CCNA or Network+

●     Experience with cloud networking, such as AWS or Azure
