Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate NICU Nurse to join our team. As an NICU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing critical care to newborns who require specialized medical attention. You will work closely with neonatologists, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal care to premature and critically ill infants.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor newborns' health and vital signs, including heart rate, oxygen saturation, and blood pressure.

• Administer medications, fluids, and nutrition to newborns as ordered by the physician.

• Operate and monitor medical equipment, such as ventilators, incubators, and phototherapy lights.

• Perform diagnostic tests, such as blood tests and x-rays, and interpret results to assess newborns' conditions.

• Provide emotional support to parents and educate them on their newborn's care and condition.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for each newborn.

• Document all care provided and communicate any changes in the newborn's condition to the healthcare team.

 

Requirements:

• Current RN license in [state of practice].

• BSN degree or higher from an accredited nursing program.

• Minimum of [X] years of experience in a Level III NICU.

• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
