Job Summary:

 

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nonprofit CFO to join our organization. The Nonprofit CFO will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the organization, including budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of nonprofit financial management, excellent leadership skills, and experience in managing a team.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Oversee the financial operations of the organization

• Develop and manage the organization's budget

• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures

• Prepare financial reports and forecasts

• Manage the organization's cash flow and investment strategy

• Manage relationships with donors, funders, and financial institutions

• Manage and mentor the finance team

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements

• Collaborate with other departments and teams to achieve organizational goals

Requirements:

 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred

• Proven work experience as a CFO or similar role in a nonprofit organization

• Strong understanding of nonprofit financial management and compliance

• Excellent leadership and management skills

• Expertise in financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis

• Knowledge of financial software and systems

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
