Job Title: Order Filler

 

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Order Filler to join our team and help ensure the timely and accurate filling of customer orders. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, be able to work independently and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities:

 

     Read and interpret customer orders to determine the items to be picked

     Locate and retrieve items from inventory using handheld scanners and other equipment

     Verify the accuracy of item descriptions and quantities before packing

     Pack items securely using appropriate packaging materials

     Label packages with accurate shipping information

     Stage completed orders for pickup or delivery

     Maintain accurate records of order fulfilment activities

     Identify and report any discrepancies or issues with inventory or orders

     Follow all safety protocols and procedures

 

Qualifications:

 

     High school diploma or equivalent required

     Previous experience in order filling or related fields preferred

     Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

     Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

     Familiarity with warehouse equipment, such as handheld scanners and pallet jacks

     Good communication skills, both verbal and written

     Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

     Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
