Job Title: Packer

 

Job Summary:

As a Packer, you will be responsible for packing products in a safe and efficient manner to ensure timely delivery to customers. You will work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment to ensure that production targets are met while maintaining high quality standards. The role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare packaging materials, such as boxes, bags, and pallets, for use in the packing process.

- Pack finished products into packaging materials according to specified instructions and quality standards.

- Inspect products for defects and ensure that they meet quality standards before packing.

- Label packaged products accurately and clearly for identification and tracking purposes.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure that packing materials and products are stored safely and efficiently.

- Operate packing equipment, such as shrink wrap machines and pallet jacks, safely and according to instructions.

- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks to personal safety and the safety of others in the workplace.

- Participate in training programs and meetings to stay up-to-date on company policies, procedures, and quality standards.

- Meet production targets and deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

- Report any issues or problems with packing materials, products, or equipment to the supervisor or manager.

 

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience in packing or manufacturing is preferred, but not required.

- Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.

- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and quality standards.

- Good communication and teamwork skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets and deadlines.

- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
