Job Title: Painter

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying paint and other finishes to surfaces using a variety of techniques and tools.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and priming.

• Select and mix paints and other finishes to achieve desired colors and textures.

• Apply paint and other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, sprayers, or other tools.

• Create stencils or other decorative elements as needed.

• Repair or replace damaged or deteriorated paint or finishes.

• Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment and proper handling of tools and equipment.

• Collaborate with other painters, contractors, and designers to develop project plans and strategies.

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Completion of a painting apprenticeship program or technical school training in painting.

• 3+ years of experience as a Painter.

• Strong knowledge of painting principles, techniques, and practices.

• Ability to mix and match colors and textures to achieve desired results.

• Strong skills in using a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed.

 

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds of equipment and materials.

• Ability to work in all weather conditions and in confined spaces.
