Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Park Ranger to join our team in preserving and protecting our natural resources. The Park Ranger will be responsible for ensuring the safety of park visitors, enforcing park rules and regulations, and maintaining the park's natural and cultural resources. This position involves a range of tasks, including conducting guided tours, providing information to visitors, and responding to emergency situations.

 

Responsibilities:

• Patrol the park grounds to ensure the safety of visitors and enforce park rules and regulations

• Conduct guided tours and interpretive programs for visitors to educate them about the park's natural and cultural resources

• Provide information and assistance to visitors, including answering questions and giving directions

• Maintain the park's natural and cultural resources, such as trails, facilities, and wildlife habitats

• Monitor and report any suspicious or illegal activities within the park

• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid or other assistance as needed

• Coordinate with other park staff and local authorities to ensure the park's safety and security

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Park Manager

 

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in a related field preferred

• Minimum of two years of experience in park operations, public safety, or a related field

• Strong knowledge of park rules and regulations, natural resources, and outdoor recreation

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

• Must possess a valid driver's license
