Job Title: Patient Service Representative

 

Job Overview:

We are seeking a patient service representative to join our team and help us provide excellent customer service to our patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for answering patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, collecting patient information, and handling administrative tasks.

 

Responsibilities:

 

     Greet patients in a professional and friendly manner.

     Answer patient inquiries via phone, email, or in person.

     Schedule appointments for patients and confirm appointments.

     Collect patient information and update records.

     Handle patient billing inquiries and process payments.

     Follow-up with patients regarding their appointments and medical records.

     Collaborate with medical staff to ensure patient needs are met.

     Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

 

Requirements:

 

     High school diploma or equivalent.

     Previous experience in a customer service role.

     Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

     Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

     Proficiency with computer systems and software.

     Familiarity with medical terminology and office procedures.

     Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.

     Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.

 

Physical Requirements:

 

     Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.

     Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

     Ability to use a computer for extended periods of time.
