Job Summary:


We are seeking a talented Physical Product Designer to join our design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating innovative and functional designs for a range of products. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in product design, with a focus on physical products, and a passion for creative problem-solving.


Key Responsibilities:


     Develop product design concepts, from ideation to production

     Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and product development, to ensure design alignment with business objectives

     Research and analyze market trends and consumer needs to inform design decisions

     Create detailed technical specifications for product prototypes and production

     Test and evaluate product prototypes to ensure they meet design specifications and standards

     Ensure product designs adhere to safety, quality, and regulatory standards

     Present design concepts and prototypes to internal and external stakeholders




     Bachelor's degree in product design, industrial design, or related field

     Proven experience in physical product design, with a portfolio showcasing your work

     Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and SolidWorks

     Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials

     Excellent communication and presentation skills

     Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

     Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail


Preferred Qualifications:


     Master's degree in product design, industrial design, or related field

     Experience with sustainable design principles and practices

     Familiarity with 3D printing and rapid prototyping technologies


Physical Requirements:


     Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time

     Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

     Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to chemicals and other hazardous materials as required for product development and testing
