Job Title: Pipefitter

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining piping systems for various applications in commercial and industrial settings.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints and other technical specifications to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of piping systems.

• Cut, thread, and bend pipes to fit required shapes and sizes.

• Install and secure pipes, fittings, valves, and other components according to project specifications.

• Inspect and test piping systems for leaks, pressure, and flow.

• Collaborate with other pipefitters, engineers, and maintenance personnel to develop project plans and strategies.

• Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment and proper handling of tools and equipment.

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Completion of a pipefitting apprenticeship program or technical school training in pipefitting.

• 3+ years of experience as a Pipefitter in commercial and industrial settings.

• Strong knowledge of piping systems and components, including valves, fittings, and pipes.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.

• Strong skills in using a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed.

 

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds of equipment.

• Ability to work in confined spaces and at elevated heights.
