Job Title: Public Relations (PR) Executive

 

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Public Relations (PR) Executive to manage and enhance our company's public image. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of public relations strategies and tactics and the ability to execute them effectively. The PR Executive will be responsible for developing and implementing PR campaigns, building relationships with key media outlets, and managing crisis communications.

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

 

• Develop and execute public relations strategies to support the company's goals and objectives.

• Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, including journalists, bloggers, and influencers.

• Develop and distribute press releases, pitches, and other media materials.

• Manage social media channels, including creating and curating content and responding to comments and inquiries.

• Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on media mentions and sentiment.

• Manage crisis communications and respond to negative publicity or reviews.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency in messaging and image.

• Develop and maintain a media database and track media coverage.

• Coordinate and manage media events, including press conferences, media tours, and product launches.

• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in public relations.

 

Requirements:

 

• Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in public relations, preferably in an agency or corporate setting.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong media relations skills and ability to build relationships with journalists and influencers.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work under tight deadlines.

• Knowledge of social media platforms and their role in public relations.

• Experience managing crisis communications and responding to negative publicity.

 

Preferred:

 

• Master's degree in public relations, communications, or a related field.

• Experience working with high-profile clients or brands.

• Experience managing a team of public relations professionals.

 

Physical Demands:

 

This job may require standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods of time. It may also involve lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds.
