Title: Practice Manager

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Manager to lead our healthcare practice. The Practice Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice, including managing staff, implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. This individual will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and drive business growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the practice, including staff scheduling, patient flow, and inventory management.

- Hire, train, and supervise staff, including physicians, nurses, and administrative staff.

- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, such as HIPAA and OSHA.

- Manage the financial performance of the practice, including revenue cycle management, budgeting, and financial reporting.

- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives.

- Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive patient volume and practice growth.

- Ensure that the practice maintains a safe and secure environment for patients and staff.

 

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in healthcare administration or related field, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.

- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, including HIPAA, OSHA, and Medicare.

- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex information to a variety of stakeholders.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- Experience with financial management and budgeting.

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Certification in Healthcare Administration, such as the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Certified Healthcare Executive (CHE) or Board Certification in Medical Practice Management (BCMPM).

- Experience working in a physician practice or outpatient clinic.
