Title: Preschool Teacher

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to create a safe and engaging learning environment for young children. The Preschool Teacher will develop and implement lesson plans, provide individualized attention to students, and foster a love of learning through creative and interactive activities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children, strong communication skills, and experience in early childhood education.

 

Responsibilities:

 

     Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in young children.

     Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment for children.

     Provide individualized attention and support to students, including helping with personal care needs and assisting with basic skills such as letter recognition and counting.

     Use creative and interactive teaching methods, such as storytelling, music, and hands-on activities, to engage children in learning and promote curiosity and exploration.

     Monitor and assess student progress and adjust lesson plans as needed to meet individual needs and learning styles.

     Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, needs, and concerns.

     Participate in training and professional development opportunities to improve skills and knowledge related to early childhood education.

     Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.

     Adhere to ethical and professional standards related to confidentiality, child safety, and positive communication with families.

 

Requirements:

 

     Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.

     Minimum of two years of experience in a preschool or early childhood education setting.

     Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

     Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff.

     Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children.

     Basic understanding of child development and early childhood education principles and practices.

     Willingness and ability to undergo background checks and training related to education and child safety.

 

Preferred qualifications:

 

     State teaching certification or credential in early childhood education.

     Experience working with diverse student populations.

     Bilingual or multilingual skills.
