Job Summary:

 

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Product Copywriter to join our marketing team. Responsibilities:

 

- Develop clear and compelling product descriptions and other marketing content that effectively communicates the features, benefits, and value of our products to our target audience

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand the features and benefits of our products and how they align with our target audience

- Conduct research and analysis to understand customer needs, preferences, and pain points, and use insights to inform content development

- Craft copy that resonates with our target audience and drives sales, while maintaining brand voice and tone guidelines

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive content calendar that aligns with overall marketing objectives and product release timelines

- Edit and proofread all marketing content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and continually identify opportunities for growth and improvement

- Collaborate with other marketing team members, including social media managers and email marketers, to align product messaging with overall marketing strategy

 

Requirements:

 

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or a related field

- 2-3 years of experience in product copywriting or marketing content development

- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling, and engaging marketing content

- Understanding of marketing and product positioning, and the ability to develop copy that resonates with our target audience and drives sales

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Familiarity with SEO best practices and the ability to incorporate keywords and meta descriptions into marketing content

- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation platforms (MAP) is a plus
