Job Title: Product Engineer

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Product Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing new products, improving existing products, and ensuring that products meet customer needs and company standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, experience in product development, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

 

Responsibilities:

 

●     Design and develop new products from concept to production

●     Improve existing products to increase performance, quality, and cost-effectiveness

●     Work with cross-functional teams to identify customer needs and develop product specifications

●     Conduct feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and risk assessments to evaluate product concepts

●     Create and maintain product documentation, including product requirements, design specifications, and test plans

●     Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure that products can be manufactured efficiently and cost-effectively

●     Work with suppliers to source and evaluate materials and components

●     Conduct product testing and evaluation to ensure that products meet customer needs and company standards

●     Stay current with industry trends and technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and product improvements

 

Requirements:

 

●     Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

●     Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product engineering or product development

●     Strong technical skills in product design, development, and testing

●     Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools

●     Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

●     Strong communication and collaboration skills

●     Familiarity with manufacturing processes and materials

●     Knowledge of product testing and evaluation methods

●     Experience with project management and product life cycle management

●     Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

●     Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed for project work or conferences
