Job Description:

 

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Production Artist to join our team. The Production Artist will be responsible for preparing artwork and designs for print or digital production, ensuring that they are of high quality and meet client specifications. They will work closely with designers, account managers, and production staff to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

 

Responsibilities:

 

●     Review designs and artwork for print or digital production and ensure that they meet client specifications and quality standards

●     Prepare files for pre-press production, including making necessary adjustments to artwork and preparing files for output

●     Create final mechanical files for print production, including imposition, trapping, and color correction

●     Prepare files for digital production, including optimizing images and graphics for web and mobile platforms

●     Collaborate with designers, account managers, and production staff to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget

●     Communicate with vendors and printers to ensure that production runs smoothly and that projects are delivered on time

●     Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in production art, including new technologies and software

 

Requirements:

 

●     Associate's or Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field

●     1-3 years of experience in a production art role, preferably in a design or advertising agency

●     Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop

●     Knowledge of pre-press production processes and print production techniques

●     Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

●     Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients

●     Strong time management skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines

●     Flexibility and adaptability to changing project requirements and timelines
