Job Summary:

 

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Public Relations (PR) Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication and public relations strategies that promote our organization and its services to various stakeholders. The PR Officer will work closely with the Marketing and Communications teams to manage all external and internal communications, including media relations, press releases, social media, and other communication channels.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

• Develop and implement effective PR strategies that promote the organization and its services to various stakeholders.

• Plan and execute PR campaigns that align with the organization's objectives and goals.

• Work closely with the Marketing and Communications teams to manage all external and internal communications, including media relations, press releases, social media, and other communication channels.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and other influencers to ensure positive coverage of the organization and its services.

• Develop and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other materials to promote the organization and its services.

• Monitor media coverage of the organization and respond to any negative or inaccurate information.

• Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications teams to develop and implement social media strategies that support the organization's objectives and goals.

• Plan and coordinate events and other activities that promote the organization and its services to various stakeholders.

• Provide support and advice to senior management on all communication and PR matters.

 

Job Requirements:

 

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.

• Proven experience working in a PR or communications role.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience developing and implementing PR strategies and campaigns.

• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

• Strong project management skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong knowledge of social media and other communication channels.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Excellent organizational and planning skills.

• Experience in event planning and coordination is a plus.

• Knowledge of the organization's industry and target audience is a plus.
