We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Purchasing Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services necessary for our organization's operations. The Purchasing Agent will work closely with vendors to negotiate pricing and ensure timely delivery of goods.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Source and purchase goods and services in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.

 

• Work with vendors to negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and payment terms.

 

• Monitor inventory levels and order materials as needed.

 

• Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing information.

 

• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

 

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors.

 

• Stay up-to-date with market trends and new products.

 

• Monitor and track purchase orders and invoices.

 

• Resolve any issues or discrepancies with vendors.

 

Requirements:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management or related field.

 

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.

 

• Excellent negotiation skills.

 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 

• Attention to detail.

 

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.

 

• Knowledge of supply chain management principles.

 

• Excellent communication skills.
