Job Overview:

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team. As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing, selecting, and purchasing goods and services for our organization. You will work closely with suppliers and other internal departments to ensure that we are receiving the highest quality goods and services at the best possible prices. You will also be responsible for managing the procurement process from start to finish, negotiating contracts, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies and policies that align with the company's goals and objectives.

 

• Source and select suppliers for goods and services, negotiate contracts and terms, and manage relationships with vendors.

 

• Collaborate with internal departments to determine their purchasing needs and ensure that all purchases are in compliance with the company's policies and procedures.

 

• Evaluate supplier performance and provide feedback to suppliers to ensure continuous improvement.

 

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.

 

• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

 

• Manage the purchasing budget and track expenses to ensure that they are within the allocated budget.

 

• Ensure that all purchasing activities are conducted in a manner that is ethical, legal, and consistent with the company's values.

 

Qualifications:

 

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

 

• Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role.

 

• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build strong relationships with suppliers.

 

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

 

• Knowledge of procurement laws and regulations.

 

• Ability to travel as required.
