Job Title: Quality Inspector

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the highest quality standards by conducting inspections, testing, and analysis throughout the production process.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and test products at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.

• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to ensure that products meet design requirements.

• Conduct visual inspections and use precision measurement tools to ensure that products meet dimensional and performance specifications.

• Document inspection results and report any deviations from quality standards to production management.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.

• Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment to ensure accurate measurements and test results.

• Provide feedback to production personnel regarding quality issues and recommend process improvements to prevent future defects.

• Conduct supplier audits and inspections to ensure that purchased products meet quality standards and specifications.

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a technical field is preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality inspection or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and inspection techniques.

• Experience reading technical drawings and specifications.

• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

• Ability to interpret and apply quality standards, such as ISO 9001 or AS9100.

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
