Job Purpose:
As a Safety Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and standards. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to create a culture of safety, minimize accidents, and reduce occupational hazards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and maintain occupational health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and unsafe practices and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with management and various stakeholders to develop and implement safety programs and initiatives that promote a culture of safety
- Provide training and education to employees on safe work practices, equipment handling, and emergency response procedures
- Investigate and report on accidents and incidents and provide recommendations for corrective actions
- Ensure that all safety-related incidents are reported and investigated in a timely and effective manner
- Manage and maintain safety records and ensure that all required reports and documentation are completed accurately and on time
- Ensure that all safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) are properly maintained and used
- Stay up to date with changes in occupational health and safety regulations and standards and ensure that the organization remains compliant

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
