Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Auditor to join our team. The Senior Auditor will be responsible for leading and conducting audits of financial statements, internal controls, and operational processes to ensure compliance with regulations and standards. The Senior Auditor will also be responsible for managing audit staff and providing guidance and support to other members of the audit team.

 

Responsibilities:

• Lead and conduct audits of financial statements, internal controls, and operational processes to ensure compliance with regulations and standards

• Develop and execute audit plans and strategies

• Identify and assess risks and controls, and develop recommendations for improvement

• Manage and mentor audit staff, providing guidance and support to other members of the audit team

• Prepare audit reports and communicate findings and recommendations to management

• Work with management to develop and implement corrective actions and improvements

• Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and standards and ensure compliance with new requirements

• Assist with special projects and other audit-related tasks as assigned

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in auditing, with at least 2-3 years of supervisory experience

• Strong knowledge of auditing principles, practices, and procedures

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• CPA or CIA certification preferred
