Job Summary:

 

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Web Developer to join our team. As a Senior Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our organization's web applications and websites. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the usability, accessibility, and performance of our web properties.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

     Design and develop web applications and websites using modern web technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.

     Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, product managers, and software engineers, to ensure the usability, accessibility, and performance of our web properties.

     Maintain and update existing web applications and websites, and implement enhancements and new features as needed.

     Ensure the security and reliability of our web applications and websites, and perform regular maintenance and monitoring to prevent and mitigate issues.

     Optimize web applications and websites for performance and scalability, and implement caching, CDN, and other techniques to improve page load times and user experience.

     Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies, trends, and best practices, and make recommendations for improvements and enhancements.

     Mentor and train junior web developers and IT staff.

 

Requirements:

 

     Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

     At least 7 years of experience in web development, with a track record of designing and developing complex web applications and websites.

     Strong understanding of web technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.

     Experience with server-side scripting languages, such as PHP, Python, or Ruby, and web application frameworks, such as Laravel, Django, or Ruby on Rails.

     Experience with web services, such as RESTful APIs and GraphQL, and front-end tools, such as Webpack and Babel.

     Strong understanding of web security best practices and regulations, such as OWASP and GDPR.

     Experience with web analytics and monitoring tools, such as Google Analytics, New Relic, or Datadog.

     Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

     Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other team members to achieve common goals.

     Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks and priorities.

     Industry certifications, such as AWS or Google Cloud certifications, are preferred but not required.
