Job Summary:

 

We are seeking a talented and experienced Sound Engineer to join our team. The Sound Engineer will be responsible for ensuring high-quality sound for live performances, recordings, and other events. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills and experience working with various sound equipment and software, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.

 

Responsibilities:

 

- Set up, operate, and maintain sound equipment for live performances, recordings, and other events.

- Conduct sound checks and rehearsals to ensure high-quality sound.

- Troubleshoot and solve technical issues related to sound equipment and software.

- Work closely with performers, producers, and other team members to ensure that sound requirements are met.

- Mix and edit sound recordings using digital audio workstations (DAWs) and other software.

- Create sound effects and other audio elements as needed.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest sound technology and equipment.

- Train and supervise assistant sound engineers and other staff members.

- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

 

Requirements:

 

- Bachelor's degree in Sound Engineering, Music Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

- Proven work experience as a Sound Engineer or a similar role.

- Strong technical skills and experience working with various sound equipment and software, such as mixing consoles, microphones, amplifiers, and DAWs.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

- Familiarity with the latest sound technology and equipment.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
