Job Title: Sourcing Manager

 

Job Summary:

 

The Sourcing Manager is responsible for leading the sourcing strategy and execution for the organization. They will work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sourcing plans that align with business objectives, while also identifying and mitigating supply chain risks. The Sourcing Manager will manage relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and identify opportunities to improve supplier performance.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with business objectives.

• Lead cross-functional teams to execute sourcing plans.

• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.

• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts.

• Analyze supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Develop and maintain metrics to track sourcing performance.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize supplier selection and performance.

• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.

• Stay current on market trends and best practices in sourcing and supply chain management.

 

Qualifications:

 

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement, preferably in a leadership role.

• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of procurement software and tools.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Knowledge of industry best practices and market trends.
