Job Summary:

 

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Stock Clerk to assist in receiving, unpacking, and stocking merchandise in our store. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, good communication skills, and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Receive and unload merchandise deliveries from trucks.

• Inspect merchandise for damage or defects.

• Label merchandise with product codes and prices.

• Stock merchandise on shelves, racks, and displays.

• Ensure that products are arranged in an organized and presentable manner.

• Rotate stock and maintain inventory levels.

• Assist in the counting of inventory stock.

• Prepare stock for sale by cleaning and pricing.

• Attend to customer inquiries and complaints.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

 

Requirements:

 

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• Proven work experience as a Stock Clerk or similar role.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

• Basic math skills.
