Job Title: Surveyor

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Surveyor to perform a range of land surveying activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for measuring and mapping land and structures to determine property boundaries, locations of buildings, and other topographical features. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

 

Responsibilities:

 

●     Conduct land surveys to measure and map land and structures

●     Use a variety of surveying tools and equipment, such as total stations, GPS, and surveying software

●     Determine property boundaries, locations of buildings, and other topographical features

●     Perform field surveys and collect data to support engineering and construction projects

●     Analyze and interpret survey data to develop maps and plans

●     Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, and project managers

●     Ensure all work is completed in compliance with applicable regulations and standards

●     Maintain accurate records and documentation of survey activities

●     Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders

●     Stay current with industry trends and technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and system improvements

 

Requirements:

 

●     Bachelor's degree in Surveying or a related field

●     Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying

●     Strong technical skills in land surveying tools and equipment

●     Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

●     Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

●     Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for land surveying

●     Experience with surveying software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D

●     Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

●     Experience with project management and documentation

●     Knowledge of construction methods and materials

●     Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license preferred
