Job Title: Teacher

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Teacher to provide instruction and support to students in our school. The Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons, managing classroom behaviour, assessing student learning, and communicating with parents and school personnel to support student success and achievement.

 

Responsibilities:

 

●     Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons that align with state standards and meet the needs of diverse learners

●     Assess student learning using a variety of methods, and provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents

●     Manage student behaviour and maintain a safe and positive classroom environment

●     Collaborate with other teachers and school personnel to support student success and achievement

●     Participate in professional development opportunities as required by the school district

●     Communicate regularly with parents and school personnel regarding student progress and needs

●     Maintain accurate and confidential student records, and comply with all legal and ethical guidelines regarding student privacy and confidentiality

●     Participate in school-wide activities and events, and collaborate with other school personnel to promote a positive school culture and environment

 

Requirements:

 

●     Bachelor's degree in education or a related field (required), master's degree (preferred)

●     State certification or licensure as a teacher (required)

●     Experience teaching students in a K-12 setting (preferred)

●     Knowledge of instructional strategies and classroom management techniques

●     Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school personnel

●     Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and manage multiple tasks and priorities

●     Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of the job, and to promoting a safe and inclusive school environment.
