Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly-skilled and experienced technical writer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, editing and maintaining technical documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications, and other technical materials.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

     Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other subject matter experts to gather and interpret technical information and user needs.

     Write, edit, and maintain a variety of technical documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications, training materials, and other technical materials.

     Organize and present complex technical information in a clear, concise, and user-friendly format.

     Ensure that all documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.

     Work closely with development teams to ensure that documentation reflects the latest product features and capabilities.

     Manage the documentation process, including version control and document distribution.

     Participate in the development of documentation standards and best practices.

     Develop and maintain knowledge of industry standards and trends.

     Participate in the design and testing of user interfaces to ensure that documentation reflects product functionality.

     Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

 

     Bachelor's degree in technical writing, English, or a related field.

     Minimum of [insert number] years of experience in technical writing.

     Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

     Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

     Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

     Experience with documentation tools, such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and content management systems.

     Experience with HTML, CSS, and XML is a plus.

     Knowledge of software development methodologies and the software development lifecycle a plus.

     Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
