Job Purpose:

As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling products and services within a designated geographical area. Your primary responsibility will be to meet or exceed sales targets, develop new business opportunities, and maintain customer relationships. You will also be responsible for keeping up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with customers within your assigned territory.

• Achieve or exceed sales targets through effective selling and prospecting.

• Conduct customer needs assessments and recommend products or services that meet their needs.

• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the company's products and services, as well as industry trends.

• Keep accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities.

• Provide timely and accurate reports as required.

• Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry-related events as required.

• Work collaboratively with other sales team members to ensure the achievement of company sales objectives.

• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution.

 

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or a related field.

• At least 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in a B2B environment.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to travel within assigned territory.

 

Working Conditions:

• This is a field sales position, and the successful candidate will be required to travel within their assigned territory to meet with customers.

• May be required to work evenings and weekends to accommodate customer schedules.

• May be required to stand for extended periods of time at trade shows and events.
