Job Title: Training Specialist


Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Training Specialist to design and conduct training programs for employees in various departments of our organization. The Training Specialist will collaborate with management and subject matter experts to assess training needs, design and develop training programs and facilitate the delivery of training sessions. The ideal candidate will have experience in adult learning theory, instructional design, and facilitation techniques.



- Collaborate with subject matter experts and management to identify training needs and goals

- Develop, design, and deliver training programs that meet the needs of various departments

- Develop and maintain training materials, including manuals, handouts, and visual aids

- Utilize adult learning theory and instructional design principles to create engaging and effective training programs

- Facilitate training sessions in a classroom or virtual setting, using a variety of delivery methods such as lectures, group discussions, and hands-on activities

- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvements

- Maintain training records and prepare reports on training program participation and outcomes

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in training and development



- Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, or a related field

- 2+ years of experience in training and development, preferably in a corporate or business environment

- Experience in instructional design, adult learning theory, and facilitation techniques

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Excellent organizational and project management skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning management systems (LMS)


Physical Demands:

This job may require extended periods of sitting, standing, or walking. The Training Specialist may need to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
