Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Travel Consultant to join our team and provide exceptional travel-related services to our clients. The Travel Consultant will be responsible for managing travel arrangements, booking flights and hotels, providing travel advice, and ensuring client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and customer service skills, as well as experience with travel-related software and systems.

 

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with clients to understand their travel needs and preferences

• Provide recommendations and advice on travel destinations, accommodations, and activities

• Book flights, hotels, rental cars, and other travel-related services

• Manage travel itineraries and make changes as necessary

• Provide excellent customer service to clients, including addressing any issues or concerns they may have

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements

• Stay up-to-date on travel-related trends and developments

• Build and maintain relationships with travel vendors and suppliers

• Manage travel-related expenses and maintain accurate records

• Provide regular reports on travel-related metrics and KPIs to the Travel Manager

 

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in travel consulting or a related field

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong customer service skills and ability to provide exceptional client experiences

• Proficiency in travel-related software and systems, including GDS systems

• Familiarity with travel-related regulations and compliance requirements

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as necessary

• Bachelor's degree in travel, hospitality, or a related field preferred
