Job Title: Tutor

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Tutor to provide individualized support to students in a variety of subjects. The Tutor will be responsible for assessing student learning needs, developing and delivering personalized instruction, and tracking student progress to ensure success and achievement.

 

Responsibilities:

 

●     Assess student learning needs and develop personalized instruction plans to meet individual student needs

●     Deliver engaging and effective instruction in a variety of subjects, including but not limited to math, science, English, and foreign languages

●     Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents regarding student progress and needs

●     Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and school personnel to support student success and achievement

●     Track and analyze student progress and adjust instruction as needed to ensure success

●     Maintain accurate and confidential student records, and comply with all legal and ethical guidelines regarding student privacy and confidentiality

●     Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills

 

Requirements:

 

●     Bachelor's degree in education or a related field (preferred), or equivalent experience

●     Experience working with students in a K-12 setting (preferred)

●     Strong knowledge of instructional strategies and subject matter content

●     Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school personnel

●     Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and manage multiple tasks and priorities

●     Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of the job, and to promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
