Job Summary:

 

We are seeking friendly and professional wait staff to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and a positive attitude. The wait staff will work with our team to ensure that our customers have an enjoyable dining experience.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Greet and welcome customers as they arrive

• Present menus and make recommendations based on customers’ preferences

• Take and process orders accurately and efficiently

• Deliver orders to the correct table and ensure that all items are accurate and of high quality

• Anticipate customers’ needs and provide exceptional customer service

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area and ensure that tables are cleared and cleaned quickly

• Work with kitchen staff to ensure that orders are prepared and delivered in a timely manner

• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues with professionalism and tact

• Perform basic cash handling tasks and use the POS system to process orders

• Work as part of a team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently

 

Requirements:

 

• Proven work experience as a wait staff or similar role

• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality

• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

• Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Basic math and cash handling skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
