Job Summary:

 

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and shipping merchandise in a warehouse setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy of orders.

• Organize and stock merchandise on shelves and racks.

• Prepare merchandise for shipping by labelling, packing, and securing items.

• Operate a forklift or other machinery to move merchandise as needed.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and report any discrepancies.

• Perform regular stock checks and assist with inventory management.

• Assist with warehouse maintenance, including cleaning and organizing.

• Communicate with team members and management regarding inventory and shipping needs.

• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.

 

Requirements:

 

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• Proven work experience as a Warehouse Clerk or similar role.

• Experience with inventory management and forklift operation.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

• Basic computer skills.
